Ezekiel contracted HIV in 1998 and his village shunned him. His family locked him in a room, passed food under the door and left him to die. Dr. Chris Isichei, the founder of the Faith Alive Hospital in Jos, Nigeria, heard of Ezekiel's condition and traveled to his village to rescue him. Ezekiel responded to treatment and his faith and lack of bitterness toward his family and fellow villagers impressed Dr. Chris. To thank Dr. Chris for taking the risk to help him, Ezekiel began volunteering at Faith Alive and advocating for access to basic health care for his village. Today, the village has a satellite clinic and Ezekiel has become a well-respected leader in his community by relentlessly working to extend HOPE to the village that left him to die. Ezekiel never lost HOPE! Your donation can help Dr. Chris and Faith Alive USA bring HOPE to the Ezekiels of Nigeria!
